Iron Liege : About Iron Liege

Iron Liege was originally a Fantasy Live Combat LARP created in the 90's by Greg Feiler. After moving to California to pursue his dream of working in the Special Effects industry in Hollywood, he created a weapon shop under the same name as the Game. His weapons have been accepted by many different LARPs around the country, and he was the major supplier of LARP weapons for the movie Role Models by Universal Pictures. His philosophies on weapon reinforcement remain one of the highest for weapons created for American LARPs. The current company aims to push these methods forward with the best that new technologies, as well as enable the customer to choose which type of premium foams, cores, and reinforcement methods. Greg always hand-built his weapons, and the same holds true today - we do not have an assembly line, rather individual Foamsmiths building each weapon by hand. Greg remains an inspiration today, as we move forward with a new production model that involves multiple Foamsmiths, following the Iron Liege Method.

Our goal as a company is to create the best looking weapons for the LARP hobby in North America, with safety and durability high on the list. We warranty our product to be free of defects, have a 90 day return policy on Novice and Adventurer Tiers, and a one year warranty on defects in craftsmanship and materials on product from the Veteran, Epic, and Legendary Tiers. Additionally, we want to be an important resource to the local and national communities, and have built our site to direct our clients to the local LARPs in the region. We are slowly building the number of LARPs that are in our database, and will continue to do so. As part of this effort, we allow other American Foamsmiths to create an Independent Builder profile, and sell their wares through our site.
