Iron Liege : Legal Terms and Policies

1. Placing orders

All customers agree to our terms and conditions, which can be found below. Such acceptance is implied by purchase of product through Iron Liege or can be sent directly via email, fax, or snail mail to our company address or online at http://www.ironliege.net when applying down payments on Custom Designs or spending Iron Liege Credit. All offers and sales are non-binding, as we reserve the right to refuse service. By clicking the button "accept order" you accept responsibility of product selected in the "shopping cart". A confirmation that you order has been received and processed will be sent to the email you've provided.

2. Prices

All prices and quotes are not guaranteed, we reserve the right to adjust prices according to fluctuations in the prices of materials and product demand. The prices listed do not include sales tax, which will be included in the shopping cart. Total costs will reflect the current prices listed at the time of purchase.

3. Deliveries

Shipping will occur after the sale, and when the item is ready to ship. Items not in stock will have an Estimated Time to Completion (ETC), which only serves as a rough estimate. Many of our products are hand made, and delays may occur. Delays based on inaccurate ETCs cannot be used as a claim for damages. Delivery of a partial order is allowed, although each such delivery will be considered a separate business transaction and will be calculated separately. Partial deliveries do not exempt the buyer from the rest of the pending order. If product is delayed for more than a 12 week period, then both partners in the sale contract have the right to withdraw from said contract cleanly - with no ability to claim compensation or any other claims. The ETC will be able to be checked on a regular basis. In the event that the item becomes discontinued or is otherwise permanently unavailable (for the 12 week period), the buyer will be notified as soon as possible and the contract is considered null and void. Any monies will be refunded or can be used as Iron Liege credit for another purchase.

4. Product Specifications

Iron Liege reserves the right to change design specifications on any item that we carry. All material information provided by us is directly from the manufacturers.Product can deviate slightly in shape, colors, materials - as most items are handmade. All items represented by the website and catalogs are considered models only. Slight deviations in product will not enable cancellation of a sale, or refund of monies. Limited runs and one of a kind items are considered sold "as is". Any defects in workmanship or materials as noted under "care and consideration of weapon use" will be honored under the 90 day warranty for Novice and Adventurer Tiers; and a one year (365 days) warranty for products listed under the Veteran, Epic, and Legendary Tiers.

5. Terms of Payment

The shipping takes place when payment is made via credit card or PayPal. Most deliveries will be shipped UPS, and the buyer pays for all shipping charges and insurance, unless otherwise noted.

6. Interest

If payments fall behind on layaway programs, we reserve the right to charge interest for consideration of follow up and record keeping.

7. Ownership

All product ordered remains the property of Iron Liege until the full payment has been made. The buyer can sell our goods in a normal business transaction, however none of the Warranties and Policies regarding our product will not be transferred to the new owner. Only direct sales with an Agent of Iron Liege or through the company directly will our Warranties and Policies be honored.

8. Warranty and Policy Claims

The buyer should check all items ordered immediately upon arrival for a correct order and report any damages to us within one week via email, FAX, or phone. Claims against the delivery insurance need to be processed as soon as possible, and a quick turnaround of information will help expedite processing.

The 90 day and 1 year Warranties are allowable on weapons that have seen no use, so if the weapon is damaged outside of the Warranty parameters, the Warranty is considered void.

9. Re-Blade Policy

All original Iron Liege Product from the Veteran's Tier, Epic Tier, or Legendary Tier can be re-bladed for the cost of $30 (plus shipping costs) for as long as the original purchaser owns it. Note that a custom weapon inherently is covered by the Re-Blade Policy.

This policy is void if purchased by a company or corporation
This is non-transferable, and void where it involves use by more than the original owner (i.e. an entire Plot team, NPC duty, etc.)
This policy does not cover rebuilding other elements of the weapon, only the blade or striking surface of the weapon (this DOES include rebuilding an entire axe or hammer head, but not the shaft or handle)
The weapon is not eligible if the core is damaged in any way.
The weapon is not eligible if it has been modified in any way shape or form (including painting, coating, etc.)
